HELGA 64 Bits?

When talking about 64 Bit, we must differentiate:
- Windows in 64 Bit is always supported
- HELGA does not support MS Access in 64 Bit
Why?
HELGA is relying on 2 OCX components for the communication with the EMIT and/or SPORTident equipment. These OCX are only available in 32 Bits and they don't work in Access 64 Bits.
And just recently, the company SPORTident confirmed that their OCX is out of support for a long time already and that they cannot produce a 64 Bit OCX with reasonable effort.
The alternative programming interface is unfortunately not compatible with MS Access.
But there are no plans by Microsoft to discontinue MS Access in 32 Bits.
