Routegadget2

Post by mho »

We are happy to propose a new service on HELGA-O: hosting Routegadget2 for your competition.
The first race is already online: The Belgian National race of 21st June. Once linked, there appears a new icon next to the split times icon on Webres.

If you also want to propose this for your competition, but don't want to host RG2 on your own server, this is how you can do:
  1. After your race is finished, send us (helpdesk@helga-o.com) a 200dpi version of your plain map
  2. Send the control sequences export in XML format
  3. Send also a picture file of one of the longer courses, so that we know exactly how to calibrate the map
  4. Send the results as HELGA export file for Routegadget2
OR: send the Helgadat.mdb, Ocad map file and Ocad course setting file.

If your map is geo-referenced, make sure to include the geo file, and also ensure that you do the same for the course definition file.

Hi Michael, great service !

About the "course definition file" which has to be geo-referenced too, you mean the XML control sequences export ?

Thanks :-)
The Ocad course definition project (OCD file) must also be geo-referenced.
